How to Create a Winning Presentation for Sikkerhetsfestivalen 2026

Do you want to be on stage at Sikkerhetsfestivalen - the Norwegian Security Festival 2026? We are now sharing our best practices on how your presentation can be selected.

1. Check if your presentation fits into a track: The main committee has already decided which overarching themes will be included in the 2026 program. A description has been made for each track and what kind of presentation you would like to have included. Remember that a good presentation that fits into the conference theme and level is a key to being selected!

2. Use a catchy and motivating title: The title is your first handshake with the attendees. It needs to be engaging and tell a story. Remember, the title you write in your proposal will be visible on the agenda and is the first thing your audience sees when they select sessions. Make it unique and relevant!

3. Use a vivid description: This is key to capturing the attention of your audience. It should reflect the essence of your presentation and provide a good taste of the content. Ask yourself: Who is this talk for? What are your key learning points? How will this resonate and enrich the audience?

4. Make it personal: Why is this topic important to you? How will it resonate with your audience?

5. A well-thought-out outline: Show us how you plan to lead the audience through your talk. A well-structured outline helps us see the value and quality of your presentation.

If your theme fits both as a presentation (40 min), deep dive/ workshop (2x40 min) and/or lightning talk (10 min), we ask you to send in separate submissions. You need to select if you want to present in Norwegian or English, but can note in the outline if you are open to changing the language.

Sikkerhetsfestivalen is more than just a conference; it is an arena for knowledge sharing and networking. Your contribution can make a significant difference. Seize the opportunity to share your knowledge and passion with an engaged audience!
