🏃♀️🌅 Kickstart Your Morning with the Mnemonic Running Club! 🌅🏃♂️
Bring your friends (cyber or otherwise) and join us for a fun and friendly run from 7:00 AM, August 26th, starting from Lillehammer Bakeri.
All levels are welcome! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out, we've got you covered. We'll adjust the pace and distance to suit the group, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and included.
After the run, treat yourself! 🥐☕ Join us for an optional post-run coffee and pastry at Lillehammer Bakeri, where you can recharge, connect, and share some laughs. Mnemonic Running Club will pick up the tab, so it's on us! The event finishes at 8:30.

Game on! - Security gaming at Breiseth Hotel. Lars Erik from Conscia and Koen from Advisense invite you to join them on some of their favorite games: CISO Blackjack and Backdoors & Breaches. This is a playful open side event with limited capacity (approx. 30 participants).
CISO Blackjack is a game designed by Koen himself, aiming to help current and future CISOs experiment and experience the various aspects of being a CISO.
Backdoors and Breaches is a well-known Incident Response game invented by Black Hills Infosec. Work together with your team to investigate and mitigate the following phases of a cyberattack: Initial access, pivot and escalate, persistence, and exfiltration.

We invite both you as a participant at the Security Festival and some of our partners to join us for an open session where we share our experiences within current security topics - this will mainly concern identity and access management, emergency preparedness, the management of an organization's responsibility for threat intelligence, password and privileged access, and Entra security. We will review presentations we have given previously, and open up the possibility for those present to request specific topics and have content presented from these. There will also be the opportunity to ask questions to our security experts.

Would you like to create a festival feel by organizing a side event? We understand that many people would like to contribute by doing something extra for the participants, and we appreciate this. Usually, this is reserved for our partners and paying sponsors/exhibitors, but if you would like to contribute, there are a few things we ask you to take into account to ensure a good experience for everyone:
Respect for the Program and Sponsors/Exhibitors
Side events should be held outside the regular program, out of respect for the organizer and paying sponsors and exhibitors. It is important that side events take place in “free time” and do not clash with the official activities.
Timings for Side events
Side events can take place at the following times:

Monday 25/8: Between 16:00 and 19:00, and after 21:00

Tuesday 26/8: Between 16:15 and 19:00
There is also the possibility of arranging side events on the morning before the academic program, until 9 a.m. every day. See here for the full festival program.
