PRIVACY

The Norwegian Information Security Forum (ISF) is responsible for the personal data processed for the Security Festival.

ISF processes the names and contact information of corporate members, partners, sponsors and participants to administer the conference. For events where catering is provided, information about allergies is processed to some extent.

The purpose of processing personal data is to safeguard the members' agreement with ISF related to invoicing and professional updates. Personal data is also used to facilitate networking among sponsors, exhibitors and participants at the festival. Sponsors and exhibitors are given access to an application, which gives them the opportunity to scan participants' unique QR code on their badge to retrieve contact information, with the consent of the participant. The contact information retrieved is name, email, telephone number and company. This data is collected separately for each sponsor and exhibitor in the Ticketbutler application (see more info about the subcontractor below).

In some cases, it may be necessary to process personal data for access control to meeting rooms.

ISF may process information for the purpose of creating statistics as a basis for work on increased diversity and quality development.

ISF also transfers an overview of participation in meetings and seminars, as well as invoice information to the accountant and auditor.

ISF uses data processors to send newsletters to members and emails, store documents, send surveys, support events and invoicing.

To manage ticket purchases, registration and facilitate the event, subcontractors are used. This also includes sending out tickets and other communications, as well as facilitating registration upon arrival at the festival. The following subcontractors are used:

  • Checkin Pay AS is used to handle ticket purchases and registrations, and has a privacy policy that regulates their processing of personal data.
  • Ticketbutler is used for registration and arrival at the festival, printing name badges with QR codes. See their privacy policy here (English)

Participants at the Security Festival have the right to access their own personal data and can request this by sending an email to securityfestivalen@macsimum.no . The same applies to ISF members, but here the email is sent to isf@isf.no
